Thank you for another great harvest weekend!
We
successfully harvested our Concord grapes on Saturday. Thank you for
your efforts. We have one more day of harvest left when we will pick
our St. Vincent grapes. We've been having a blast the past few weekends
getting our crop in. However, we can't take anymore reservations this
season, but we will start taking reservations for next year on July 5th, 2008.

Sunsets at Summerset with the Old School this Friday, Sept. 28
Enjoy live music by Old School Friday night, September 28th, at the
winery from 5:30 - 8:30. Old School plays Blues, Jazz and Rock n' Roll,
while throwing in a little Big Band, Country and hits from the 70's and
80's. It is an amazing blend for every music lover. A great way to
start your weekend. Weather permitting the band will perform outside.
The same rules apply as Sunday Tunes.
Dinner will be available from Contemporary Catering, $10 per plate.
Whatever they serve, you know it will be delicious from lasagna to a
pasta bar, chicken or beef – YUM! No need to stop home, just come
straight from work! Bon Appetit!
Sunday Tunes
This Sunday, don't miss FreeStyle from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
On Sunday, September 30th, FreeStyle will perform from 3:00 -
6:00 p.m. at the winery. Free Style, Iowa's favorite variety dance
band. Playing Blues, Jazz and Rock n' Roll... while throwing in a
little Big Band, Country and hits from the 70's and 80's... it's an
amazing blend for every music lover.

Our live music events are open to the public. There is no admission
fee, wine sales help cover the cost of the band. Complimentary wine
samples are available. Select one of our fine bottles of wine for your
afternoon enjoyment. We recommend you bring your own chair or a blanket
to relax on. Spots on the lawn are available on a first come, first
served basis.
In addition to our award-winning wine, we also offer summer
sausage, cheese and crackers to tempt your palate as well as
non–alcoholic beverages.
Patrons are welcome to sit back and enjoy a relaxing chair massage by
Heartland Prairie Massage. A percentage of the sales will go directly

Dance Lessons At Summerset

Beginners Cha-Cha and Merengue
We will be offering dance
lessons at Summerset Sunday afternoons before the band plays.This first
session will begin Sunday October 7th and run through November 4th.
This class if for beginners and no partner is needed if you attend.Cost
is $50 per person for five weeks. Time of class is as follows:
Oct. 7 - 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Oct. 14 - 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Oct. 21 - 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Oct. 28 - 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Nov. 4 - 12:30-1:30 p.m. (time change)
