A Complaint is an Opportunity to Showcase Your Customer Service

Oh no! You just received a notice of complaint from the Better Business Bureau and you are concerned what this might mean for your BBB Business Review.

Take a deep breath and remember you have a voice in the matter and can make things right. BBB will not publish a complaint until you have a chance to respond. Look at a complaint as valuable customer feedback that will ultimately improve your services and public perception. Perhaps you could view the complaint as an opportunity to improve.

Presidents Message:

As I write this I am hopeful that the worst of our very cold snowy weather is behind us and it will be all uphill from here for our temperatures. At the BBB we have been flooded with inquires as to furnace and heating businesses as well as issues pertaining to propane prices and power bills. Tax Time! Tips to Choose the Right Tax Professional for You!

When your employer hands you your W-2 form, it can be tempting to rush out and get your taxes done so you can get your refund sooner. But, BBB encourages taxpayers to take the time and use caution when selecting a tax preparer to avoid mistakes that could result in additional fees.

Most of us enlist the help of a tax preparer or tax software to file taxes. Unfortunately, every year BBB receives thousands of complaints from consumers against tax preparers. In fact, BBB has seen a rise in complaints over the last three years.
